We loved camping here and can’t wait to come back❤️ they just need to update all of their picnic tables! The swimming pond was awesome with a spot for the dogs. We only stayed 2 nights and can’t wait to go back!

Hello Donna & Lisa :) Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you loved your camping experience with us and enjoyed our swimming pond, especially the designated area for dogs. I'm not sure if you are on social media, but we posted our new delivery of picnic tables on Monday and you departed on Tuesday. They are being weather proofed and replacing the ones that are needing repair. We're committed to continually enhancing our amenities for our guests' comfort and enjoyment. We can't wait to welcome you back for another wonderful stay! Safe travels until then! ❤️ Jim & Marcia- The RW Crew
I stayed here first week of March for 2 days .It was very clean and the staff was very nice . I just felt that this early in the year when the leaves aren't even on the trees and nobody's swimming the cost would be alot less than $80 a night . I'm sure in the summer its very nice here . That's my only complaint . next time I'll go somewhere else
Came in while passing through the area. Large back-in spot, fairly level. Very quiet during the week but have been told by the camp hosts that every weekend is booked for a long time. Would definitely go back.
This campground was great! We stopped for the night on a road trip from MA to FL. We pulled in after dark and were met by a very nice gentleman. He gave us the sweetest goodie bag with lollipops and dog treats. The campground is just a few minutes down the road from the very quaint town of Elkin, NC. There is a nice walking path through the campground. The sites were roomy and the entire campground was so clean! We hope to make it back again someday.

My husband and I did a South East Tour this winter and stayed at 12 RV Parks. The folks at River Walk RV were the most accommodating pleasant people we ran in to. The "Welcome Bag" was a nice touch and very appreciated. No other park offered such a nice token.
The campground itself was not finished, however the potential and direction they are going in is spot on. There is a nice walking path along the river. It sits down at the base of some rugged hills and gives it a private feel. Deer came right up to our camper and my husband saw them while walking our dog.
The rate was average, but we were there in the off season. The only reason I scored it a "4" is because it wasn't completed. However, my husband and I will definitely be back! Great Place! Nice host and hostess!
We were looking for a campground near by over Martin Luther weekend and used the Dyrt app and found this nice campground. All the sites were very roomy, many pull through sites, very clean and very friendly hosts. All sites were gravel and have a fire pit that you can move around to where you want to build your fire. Nice camp store and a very nice and clean bathhouse.
We camped in the back along the green belt trail that runs beside the campground and the Yadkin River. Great trail to go for a jog take your dog for a walk or just to take a stroll along the River. In the summer if you are into kayaking there is a local kayak outdoor adventure place five minutes down the road. Jonesvillle and Elkin both have antique stores and Elkin is a nice town to stroll through with shops and a local brewery. Also in Elkin are great trails to go go hiking and the Mountain to Sea Trail runs right through downtown Elkin. The Yadkin Valley is wine county so if you want to go wine tasting there are many vineyards in the area. I would differently go camping again at this campground.
