Situated on the gorgeous Slocum Creek, this park includes a staffed office with a general store, restroom and shower facilities, lounge area, coin-operated laundry, and vending area. Pelican Point RV Park is within striking distance of the Sound of Freedom Golf Course and plenty of local eateries. The park is open year round.

Several free campsites available throughout base

There are several different camping locations available throughout the base, all of which are free but must be reserved ahead of time. Base access required! They are all on the water, very peaceful. Many if the ponds are stocked for fishing. No hookups, but some sites do have a bathroom. No”hiking” trails around the campsites but lots of areas to walk and explore!

Located near the town of Havelock, off US-70. Enter the base through the main gate. Go past the gas station and look for commissary on your left. The road to the right of the commissary leads to the CG.
