I loved my stay at the ausable point camprgound. They have some beach and river sites if you like to be close to the water. Showers and bathrooms were spacious. You can rent a paddleboard, kayak, etc down the road (not even 5min) from Adirondack river rentals. There is a ''private little beach'' near the campsites at bigger one at the entrance with loots of parking. Wish I would have stayed longer!
