A big group of friends and I went up to McWilliams Campground for the weekend and it was awesome. First weekend of October was perfect weather during the day. At night time it got a little chilly, especially with no firewood burning the weekend we were up there. However, a propane fire pit sufficed. Bathrooms were clean and maintained. There was a bunch of little flying beetles everywhere during the day time, but they would disappear at night. Took some hikes up the hills and just enjoyed the peace and serenity.
