Easy Camp for the Night

After stopping in Las Vegas for the evening we hopped on the highway and 20 minutes later found this quiet spot.

It was super easy to get to and not many people. There were 3 other campers(2-RVs and 1-Camper Tent) so that was nice to see others camping there as well.

It’s secluded enough but…

Another perk for Vets

This RV park is available to retired and/or active duty…great sites, most are pull thru…dogs loved the dog park instead of leash walks…

A beautiful park with FANTASTIC staff

Our best stop on the trip! (Been on the road for 2 months). From initial contact to make reservations to the checkin process SIX STARS! The spaces are large, paved and flat. Water pressure is outstanding. Cell service is a bit weak (which is generally customary on military facilities). The check…

Rough road popular spot

Took my 2wd on the road there a couple times, ok if youre an experienced driver but still rough on suspension...Was able to get a shady in AM spot off the shore of the lake, away from the hustle and bustle of the late nighters, which there seems to be every night, so had 2 firepits and decent…

Best kept secret ever

Found this jewel when need a spot close to the dam. We were going kayaking on the Colorado down Black Canyon and had to be there at 0730 hours. Kingman Wash is down a long gravel washboard rutted road. We were towing a small cabin and it wasn’t bad. When we got to the end of the road there is a…

Our 2nd time here! Great SIMPLE place.

We found this place on accident on our first overlanding trip. It was a bit difficult to find, but once we got there...plenty of places to park, right on the water even! Relatively clean, however people burn pallets so watch for nails! PLEASE DO NOT BURN PALLETS AT SITES LIKE THIS. As always…

We only broke 3 rules this time

Last time we stayed here I think I counted about 7 times we broke ... ‘cause there are so many rules! No pit bulls, no exterior steps not integrated into the camper, no storing things outside the camper, camper age restrictions and inspections ... thank goodness it’s expensive and completely…

4x4 needed, otherwise OK for a one night stopover

4 wheel drive is definitely needed if you want to get to the lake. The spots that are motorhome accessible are right on the road which was very dusty and very busy on a Friday night. It made a great one night stopover after visiting Hoover dam, but I wouldn't want to stay there any longer.

A Desert Oasis right on the strip!

We have stayed here many times, including a 7 month stay when we first moved to Vegas.

There are so many positive points about this campground.

First, the Staff is awesome and ready to help you with any issue.  This is very consistent whether it’s the front desk or landscapers.

Boondocking

Didn’t go to the end of the road. About half way up found a flat spot 50 feet off “The Dyrt” road...looking for solitude. Apparently the top of the road are is quite popular.
