Beautiful rock formations

A beautiful, quiet spot with lovely rock formations. An OHV trailhead with space for an RV, trash cans, and BLM privy.

Beautiful and clean

Our first night we had extremely loud neighbors and were disappointed the camp host did not shut the party down through 2am. That aside, the sites are very clean and level and the views are incredible. Plenty of shade trees to string a hammock. Bring your own water or fill up at lee canyon campsite…

Not free, but worth every penny

You will definitely want an RV in the summer months. Temperatures well exceeded 100 degrees F. RV park has full hookups and amazing views. Very close to the river and marina. Camp store is well stocked. Fuel available as well. Grill is well priced. Great experience and favorite kayaking spot near…

Easy Camp for the Night

After stopping in Las Vegas for the evening we hopped on the highway and 20 minutes later found this quiet spot.

It was super easy to get to and not many people. There were 3 other campers(2-RVs and 1-Camper Tent) so that was nice to see others camping there as well.

It’s secluded enough but…

Lake Views are Definitely premium

Called the morning of arrival to see if we could come in early as we were only about 1.5 hours away due to poor planning i.e. hard to get last minute reservations near the Grand Canyon South Rim. They let us come in before noon with no charge! We went right into the National Park area that showed…

Escaping the Las Vegas heat

Mt Charleston is beautiful place to re-energize and reconnect with nature.

I’ve explored almost every part of this mountain, but I never camped here before, as I enjoy camping at places that offers fishing.

I decided to take a chance on camping at McWilliams Campground, and I wish I didn’t wait…

Echo bay RV village

This is for the Echo Bay RV Village. Overall a very nice park. Has a whole sheet of rules though. No fire rings at the sites, only at two central locations. No generators but this area has full hook ups. Most of the rules appear to be broken regularly such as storing fuel at the site, more than…

Views and Vistas

Let's be sure about this. If you're a tent camper, then just know you're going to roast between the months of May and October. The day times are brutal and the nights are barely cooler. We hit it in late May and had to find indoor fun between 10am and 7pm, returning to our campsite only when the…

Beautiful landscape. Minimum info.

Drove in to camp. Unable to properly research campground due to poor connectivity before trip. Camping & entrance fee oer vehicle per night is $25. I would have stayed but I don't usually carry cash or checks. Decided to move on with my trip. Maybe stay next time I'm in the area.
