Good spot near yellowstone
This is an independent campground about an hour from the north entrance of Yellowstone. The spots are reasonably level and about half and half pull-through vs back in. They use a larger size gravel on the roads so there is very little dust. The staff is very attentive and there seems to be good security at the campground. The hookups are well placed and everything worked well. Bathrooms and showers are reasonably clean and seem to be cleaned frequently. Nice fenced in dog area. All the spots have nice new plastic picnic tables. No fire rings. Grounds are very well cared for, grass is in great shape. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
A few things to be aware of:
- The road in is a bit bumpy and trees on both sides, so be careful coming in if you have a big rig
- No wood camp fires
- There is no tent camping allowed here
