Also 5 miles from Current River Conservation. area and 12 miles from the Black River for kayaking, canoeing, floating and fishing. Stalls available for your horses or you can tie out. Bring your boat or rent one at Clearwater Lake. They also offer pontoons and jet skies.  Blue Springs, Johnson Shut Inns, and Elephant Rock State Park are just a few of the places to go in the area.

Our local area is full of things for the adventurer ( from floating the nearby Niangua river to Fishing in Pomme de Terre lake or a day fun day in Branson , we are in the heart of Missouri. 

Our property offers trails thru our deeper woods as we as our spring flower-covered fields. We have areas to rent that have electricity and lights for your all-night parties or quiet tucked away sport to reconnect. We have Horseshoes and darts to play in our newly renovated barn and Park grills all around the property. Relax and enjoy your getaway with true PRIVACY on PRIVATE property.

A quiet country retreat nestled in the picturesque rural outskirts of Higginsville, Missouri. Our yard consists of 3 acres of a 180-acre farm in which we have three RV sites with water and electric hookups, two camping sites and one on-site travel trailer. Wifi is available at all sites, except one. Green Acres at Red Brick Farm is located just 50 miles east of Kansas City off of I-70 at Exit 49. Once you are off of I-70 your drive is less than 8 minutes away on all blacktop roads. At Exit 49 there is also a Pilot Station for RV fuel ups. Site 1 is on gravel with 30 amp hookup and water. Site 2 and Site 3 are on gravel with a 20/30/50 amp hookup and water. Site 4 and Site 5 are located on grass with a 20 amp standard outlet. Site 4 and site 5 are in flexible locations. Site 6 Is the on-site travel trailer, ‘Ain’t She Cute’. It is also great If you would like to bring friends that do not have an RV. The vintage style travel trailer is completely renovated and decorated with collectibles and antiques and is available for booking. It is furnished with a queen size bed, tiny kitchen, TV, wifi, and full size, not trailer size, bathroom. The trailer is for 2 guests, but an additional guest may sleep on the daybed, preferably a child or a small adult. There is an additional fee if you reserve ‘Ain’t She Cute’. We live onsite in our 1920’s Prairie Style home which is also Red Brick Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast with three Guest Rooms available for booking. At your disposal, is the use of our outdoor furniture, a fire pit (firewood is provided), a BBQ grill, and even a horseshoe pit. We also have a shower and bathroom sink in our farmhouse basement and a half bath on the main level for guest use. You are welcome to take a stroll along the winding country road or sit and relax and view the landscape with our dozens of mature shade trees, surrounding row crop fields and pastures. Our restaurant, Red Shanty Cafe and BBQ, is located in the town of Higginsville, about 5 miles from Red Brick Farmhouse. Red Shanty Cafe is open Weds & Thurs, 11am - 8 pm and Fri & Sat, 11am - 9pm. There is also a great little breakfast diner, called Michelle’s Place located just 3 miles from the Farmhouse. Interested in sightseeing we are a short drive from Confederate State Park, Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, and several Civil War sites. In addition to historic sites, numerous of Missouri's finest wineries and orchards are just a 10 to 30 minute drive from our location. You may also want to take a drive or ride on the Old Trails Scenic Byway, Route 24 for a car or motorcycle tour that will reset your pace from city life. We truly hope you enjoy midwest living when visiting Green Acres at Red Brick Farmhouse.



Green Acres at Red Brick Farmhouse

Acreage by Pomme de Terre Lake. The Ozarks at its best with nearby antiquing, trails, hiking, biking, paddling, fishing, hunting, ATV riding, boating, boat rental, birding, bowling, restaurants/bars, grocery, bumper cars and mini golf. Plenty of room to park your boat, toad or other accessories. Pomme de Terre is an Army Corp lake with no residences on the shore, providing great natural views from the water and public shore accesses. The cove pictured is public access and approximately 3/4 mile down a gravel road from the camp site. Very private camping on three acres off paved road. Listing is for single rig plus a few supporting tents. An RV panel with 20, 30 and 50 amp hookups services the single site. High speed wifi internet provided for streaming, surfing and digital nomads.



Pomme Camping Patch

Just five miles off HWY 44 and HWY 109, at Eureka, MO, (30 minutes west of downtown St Louis, 18 minutes from Six Flags) this place sits on a ridge with great views above the Meramec River. A century-old iron trapezoidal truss bridge is abandoned and is a beautiful feature aging in place above the confluence of Labarque Creek.

The bottomland and sand and gravel beach with swimming holes, fishing, canoeing, or kayaking is just a short walk (300 feet or so) or drive (4wd suggested for driving near the creek). We have a half-mile loop trail around the small property and just across the road is the Young Conservation Area and down the road 2 miles is Glassberg Conservation Area. This is a great base camp or picnic stop for a group floating downstream from Pacific Palisades Meramec River Access Ramp. Most people take out a mile and a half downstream at Allenton River Access Ramp (near Six Flags). We also have bunnies, chickens, fresh eggs, a vegetable garden, honey bees, and blackberries. Thousands of acres of adjacent parks, plus river access ramps for boats a few miles upstream or downstream.

Our property consists of 27 acres with 2 stocked ponds. Most of our primitive tent sites are located right on the river bank. If you’re a tent camper but need electric, let us know and we will try to hook you up! Have an RV? No problem. We have back in full hookup (water, electric and sewer) sites or pull through water and electric sites. Water and electric sites are closer to the tents along with the river, but full hookups aren’t far from the water either!
