All and all nice place. Some roads are gravel and chalky leading there (my cars still covered and I'm in Colorado now!) Pit Toilets were nice, one for campground. 2 potable water sites. Campsites were not well defined and judging by the beer cans in some site fire rings it might get rowdy on the…
You have to drive pretty far off the highway on gravel roads. When we got to the campground the one lane gravel road was packed on both sides with cars parked for an event at the campground. It made it quite difficult to pull a camper up to the campground. There was a party going on with loud music…
There was no signage and Google and Apple Maps couldn’t get us there. When we found the trailhead there was no designated camping spot on the maps. I
It was a nice quiet area designated camping spots and not too far from any stores very clean working bathrooms we really enjoyed ourselves there we'll be looking forward to going back
Campground host last weekend where very helpful and great to talk to and were just all around great people
Not a bad spot at all. Showers available as well as clean toilets. Cool cave.
Our overall camping experience was a good one. The ranger station is still closed but there was always someone driving around and ready to help. They even delivered firewood to us. The bathrooms were clean and the property was taken care of. My only criticism is that the fishing left a bit to be…

Spots are tight and the party is next door, but looking to trying again when the music starts up. We were in a small trailer, fit the spot perfectly, but had to park in the glamping spot due to no other room on our spot. Not sure if there were showers, but we were all self contained.
A short excursion down a dirt road made the place feel remote, but within the comforts of society. Friendly staff made for a homey feel. Plenty of room to be camped away from others.
This was a nice short notice trip we took. Only downside is it’s near MU, so throughout the day, you get a lot of kids hanging out until the “quiet hours” set in. Next time we’ll bring bikes and hop on the trail.
Also, we caught an AMAZING sunset from our site!
Arrived Wednesday evening and had the spot to myself. There’s a stocked vault toilet, 2 camping spots with fire rings and a boat ramp. very simple but works! No other amenities available. It’s about 2 miles off the interstate and very peaceful. You’re surrounded by farm lane and wildlife. There’s a…

The distance from the hiway is a big plus! This is a beautiful State Park. Serene, in April. The birds and frogs are amazing!!!! Site is paved, needed just slight levelling. We will return, love it!
We stayed on site 13 for one night in October 2020. It’s about 15-20 minutes from I70. Electric and water hookups, clean showers, very nice campground host. You’re supposed to reserve>24 hours in advance but we pulled up around 8 pm and got a site. Good spacing between sites, pretty level…
The access road off the Interstate initially had us second-guessing our decision to stay at this campground. However, we were quickly put at ease when we got onto the state park property (only a short drive down the access road). The park itself is very well maintained. It is heavily wooded with…

Stayed 10/29/2020 with only a few other campers in the campground. Close to the freeway but not really noticeable noise except on hikes. Paid $21 for 30 amp electric site, water and dump are available but not at individual sites. Bathroom and shower, dumpster, recycling and firewood also available.…
