Good location, so many flies

This is a great location for fishing and playing around the local city. There is a rope swing and family swimming park located across the bridge that we loved. Our RV spot was on the river and was so beautiful to even view through our rv windows. My biggest complaint was the flies… there were so…

Great place

Although this is adjacent to the Interstate exit (and therefore more noisy for a Sportsmobile tent camper), it was excellent and we’d stay there again. The cement pads, clean picnic table and immaculate bathrooms, with separate private showers, were welcome after a long travel day.

You can’t go…

Memorial Day Camping

We managed to snag a last minute spot at Buffalo Point B loop for Memorial Day weekend. The place was absolutely gorgeous. You can get great spots with amazing views of the Ozark Mountains and/or the Buffalo River. From our spot I could see down into the river from our ridge and opposite the river…

Great Hiking

I have been hiking here twice but haven’t camped yet. The trails and the river make for some great scenery. Be wary of the water level, this can impact any hiking you might be looking to do, so be ready.

Beautiful primitive campsites

The sites are private and shaded, lots of trees. Sites are right on the river so you can hear it rushing as you fall asleep. Beautiful scenery with good hiking nearby. Sites are first come, first served, but so worth the risk! We LOVED it!!

Peaceful

Beautiful mature camp. Water abounds for all types of recreational activities. Campground has all the basic needs and is well maintained. Nice bathrooms and showers. Reservations only and if there has been a lot of rain some sites could be under water

Secluded but not on the water but not

Check out COE it looks like it is going to all or there abouts all reservations. Park was jammed this weekend but with the holiday not surprised. Plus many sites in the Mountain Home region were closed due to flooding. Not the campgrounds themselves but many sites that were on the water were in the…

Beautiful setting in the Ozarks with a small rural town The campground is located just below the Norfolk Dam. Great spot to fish or kayak has a boat ramp but the creek was rather low surprising since the lake at Mountain Home was flooded. Clear stream. Campground is totally flat Showers flush…

This is a wonderful small campground. Will not handle large rigs. Better suited to smaller trailers or tents. Right on the water so it is great if you have a kayaks or similar. Arkansas is experiencing flooding at this time and we were fortunate that our site was not flooded. We are gets more rain…

This would be five stars except for lack of showers. Beautiful site right on beautiful lake. Short distance from town. Small park mature trees.

Nice place, for weekend

I think, if they came and upgraded the site with better pad for the modem rvs, this could be a prime location. Bathrooms are clean and have showers, some site's are really close together which is crazy when you see how much room is here. But, most site's you can see the lake with a few backwards,…

Unexpectedly great

Located right off the highway, I thought to pass it by. My mistake. Friendly staff held my registration from the road. Check in was quick and all my questions on local activites were answered cheerfully. The bathrooms, showers and laundry were immaculate. A true gem.
