We booked a RV trip here with another family. We were able to reserve side by side and had a great time. We even scheduled a float trip. The general store has most everything you need, its quiet, family friendly and well maintained. There were many activities to choose from. We are excited to go…
Friendly staff at check-in. Firewood was delivered promptly. Had a shady pull thru site. Was convenient to I-70. Very quiet. A mix of seasonals and those traveling through. Pool was sparkling clean. Restrooms were not private but were clean. Camp store was cute.
We were parked on a hill with lots of gravel. Campsites are very narrow. But there was a very nice pond to fish at although it was a bit of a hike to get to. They have a dog park which was nice.
Stayed here last night and was thrilled to see the platforms were clean, I cracked concrete, with plenty of grass space to boot. The lots, at least 1-9 are well spaced. The proximity to the cave tour is wondrous and worthwhile
Our family loves Huzzah Valley. We have been tent campers our whole lives and just recently purchased a travel trailer. This is our first time at a RV site here at Huzzah. Great site on the end. Extra space for our two dogs to run around.
was a wet start, weekend turned out very nice once the front moved thru.
Others had left some trash around. we picked up what we could.
please pack it out if You pack it in..

The campsites are good size and great for tents and hammocks. AT&T and Sprint have only enough service to make calls at the sites. Prescribed burn closed all the trails at the trailhead so we took a drive up to Brazil Creek trailhead. The trails there were one of a kind and the best looking…

This campground is completely free and most of all well spaced out. There is plenty of room to keep to yourself and remain undisturbed between the 8 available spots. Far from the road so no noise or blaring light. Nearby are a variety of trails of varying lengths. The gravity toilet is well…
When I first pulled in I kept going back further only to realize the spots were located right by the road side. I wish there would have been signs pointing them out more. It looks like I wasn’t the only one to continue on as there were tire tracks already and then turn arounds. It’s quiet and…
My husband and I went here for one of our first camping trips in our travel trailer. We really enjoyed our time here! They have a few different clusters of camp sites and cabins as well. We did a 5 mile float which was amazing! They bus you up river and then you end up back at the campground. We…
Sites for RVs are not level. Too close to the county road. Nice picnic pavaion.bar b q grills are nice. Pit toilet is a plus. I drove through to check it out for free Camping, I didn't like it. Probuly will not stay there.
Likes: Onondaga state park campground is one of my favorite camping spots in central Mo. The campground is very nice and clean and pads are level and all concrete with 50amp service and water hook ups. Very peaceful and friendly people. Dislikes: I’ve camped in a dozen sites at least there and…
I've been here many times and it's always a blast! Especially the floating on the beautiful Courtois river! Has a huge store and pizza that they can deliver to your campsite.
Some of the spots are close together but it seems to be that way because they kept as many natural trees as possible! We enjoyed the buddy sites so that our front doors faced our friends and the hookups were on the outside of each campsite. They also had group buddy sites that allowed four rigs to…

Nice area, second camping area at the end of the road. No amenities at the end of the road, but there is a toilet at the first camping area. Beautiful scenery, alot of hunters.
