Decent campground with lots of sites with decent space. There is a marina there and beach area. Nice covered picnic benches along the shore. Some sites also have covered picnic tables.
Biggest negative was that Bathrooms are sparse and we didn’t have soap the entire weekend.
We stayed at Spavinaw State Park for a little weekend getaway. It’s now one of our favorite places to stay! The River that runs along the campground is really nice. Cool clear water with lots of different fish species to be caught. My boys had a great time fishing. The campsite included 30 amp…

We met friends there. We boated, jet ski'd, visited, ate, made new friends and had the best week. Concrete pads, 30 and 50 Amp available but no sewer hookups. Had to use the turd wagon but it was an easy pull. Already making plans to go back.
Pretty typical state park camping. Camping loops with nice pull in sites. A variety of people camping in tents & RVs. Electric at most sites. One loop had vault toilets with potable water access. The main loop a restroom with showers, flush toilets, and potable water. There’s a seasonal…
Nice campground, decent facilities, ice and wood for sale. Stage for events, we were in a primitive spot no hookups just stone fire pit and picnic table. Found a morel mushroom in our spot. Was delicious. Beautiful area!

The park was very busy but surprisingly quiet after dark. Fishing in the river by the spillway was very nice. When we were there the park was currently looking for a camp host (help wanted sign). With the camp host vacancy there was no one to police the rules and people parked all over the grass.
Our girls had a blast there! For first timers, this place is great! Quiet, relaxing, and a nice hatchery/hiking area!

We spent several days camping at Bernice State Park. Spacious, open sites and beautiful views of the lake. They have a hiking trail, but it was closed while we were there as they were getting it ready for Halloween. Didn't use the restrooms. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Pulling up, we were dubious at best. Boy, were we surprised. Other casinos we've stayed up were just a parking lot with service. Oh no. These was individual graveled pull thru sites done better than some paid campgrounds we've stayed at. Registering for a players card, we each got $10…
Nice campground on the backside of the dam, along the white river. Clean bathrooms and showers, plenty of space between campsites. Internet was strong signal with four bars, air TV only five channels , plenty of shade trees , will come back
We tent camped in Campground 3 at lot 168. We are more of the hiker, woodsy, adventure type people. If I would have known better I would have chosen Campground 1 for tent camping, as it seemed less groomed. Campground 1 was tucked up in an inlet that went back into the valley. It dead ends at a…
River front facility with plenty of water fun. Can be crowded during the summer months. Plan accordingly.
Busy little older park on a lovely lake near Eureka Springs, AR. Great birdwatching opportunities, nice hiking trails. Mostly tent camping, some with electric. Sites lower and closer to the lake subject to flooding and can get quite boggy after a lot of rain. Reservations must be made via…

The only reason I gave this a 3 star is because there is really no amenities BUT we love it because is is right by a creek, quiet except for the water fall of the dam which I happen to like. There is a playground. People come to fish (catfish, crappy, large and smallmouth bass, sunfish, spotted…

We stay at spavinaw every June. I've been for 13 years and my husband has gone for 36. It's beautiful. A wonderful place for all ages. There is swimming and fishing and beautiful scenery. It fills up on the weekends over summer but still doesn't feel too crowded. The "waterfall" is…
