Lakefront Paradise
This is one of the best state parks I’ve been to. Amazingly clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were spotless with awesome water pressure and NO smell. No hand soap in bathroom so bring it with or some wet wipes. Swimming area, beach, volleyball, park, boat ramp. Every site is paved and beautiful. Every site has an amazing view of Table Rock Lake and MOST sites are literally on the water. We walked (10 steps) down to the water every day and swam right behind our site. All sites have water and electric but no full hookups. If you have a small boat, jet skies, or kayaks, you can pull them right up to the shore of your site. Mixture of back in and pull through sites and some are double sites for really big rigs or if you’re camping with friends. We stayed on site 16 and it was perfect but there are so many great sites that it’s hard to find a bad one. We stayed for 5 nights at $21 per night. The sites book up fast so reserve well ahead of time. 10 minutes to grocery store and gas. 20 minutes to Walmart. No camp store so if you need ice or firewood, get it in town. Tons to do within a 30 minute drive if you don’t want to spend every day on the water. Only negative is the missing hand soap, they need more garbage cans around the campground and we had some flies so had to break out the pinesol!! P.S. every time the staff member came by on his golf cart, he stopped to give our dogs treats...score!!
