Affordable, fun, camping the whole family can enjoy !

Riverside camp is actually quite nice and very affordable for all the extras you and your family could utilize. So the sites are decent sized and have a fire pit, water/ electric hook up if you want and a stationary restroom near the center of campground not all sites have picnic tables ( unless they were put up still) but on the other side if you want more rustic they have sites to suit you also ( and a more scenic yet updated outhouse/gazebo picnic area ) but back to the main side, so you got access to the muskegon river with boat launch but unsure of docking sites, theres a fairly new free splash paid connected to a pretty modern play/park area for the kiddos also a basketball and tennis court possibly bad mitten/ volleyball court that I’m sure kids could figure out who to ask camp ground officials or city all the ins & outs rules and such if the information cant be found in one of the flyers received when checking in or posted on a sign in the general area. There are a few bridge / outlooks over the water open to use for fishing , birdwatching and maybe even meditating could be done all very close by the camp sites but separate. So basically you got this big open area outlined by the river and starting left to right its like this: splash pad about the size of a basket ball court thats fenced mostly for cleanliness I would think then you got a little space and then a park/ play ground area basically like a domino water one-park/play ground then if u continue on straight ahead you’ll find a scenic over look or two spaced apart but hovering over river equipped with a bench or standing room for fishing maybe just enjoying the sound of the birds & water. You can see across the river to other side or continued camping which is not accessible from this without walking/ driving around n over a bridge. Now theres also a trail/ path that leads from the mackinaw trail kinda around plat area & camp suites by the out house facilities and ball courts down to the boat launch / water craft put in area and gazebo. There is vehicle parking very close by for any of ur needs on the sites by tent or camper on the turn around by boat launch and of course a parking area by splash pad / park area for vehicles only not camping. Now with that all being said it is kinda located close to residential houses as Evart is a quaint little town but still big enough for several favorable restaurants one being famous practically you’ve probably heard about it Mishlers the drive in restaurant and of course we have a McDonald’s and subway along with two dollar stores two gas-stations a great one stop quick shop Kasey’s Beer Booze Bait n Bullets as well as a Grocery store and even a hardware and Lumber store and let me not forget Lume for all your medical and or recreational marijuana needs and sour apple smoke shop for all ur dab/ rolling needs. Theres also a few of your basic small town beauty shops and pharmacies, post office and quite possibly a hidden gem or two to be discovered like the public library, museum or tarrot/game shop or internet/coffee cafe.
