The established campground operates on a reservation system with sites priced between $35-$50 per night, accommodating RVs and tent campers who can handle the challenging drive in.
Basic amenities include restrooms, WiFi access, and picnic tables at each site. Campfires are permitted with firewood available for purchase on-site. Pet owners will find their companions welcome here, though leash policies apply. The forested setting provides proximity to both river and lake access for fishing and paddling activities. Calhoun City Campground offers an alternative 1.6 miles west for those seeking easier road access.
Description
All of our campsites are nestled right along the scenic Tobacco River, offering a peaceful, country feel just blocks from downtown Beaverton. Within walking distance (or a short drive), you’ll find Ross Lake and Beach, the newly remodeled Beaverton Tavern, a local park, splash pad, ice cream shop, and more.
We’re conveniently located near Gladwin, ORV trails, the popular Juicy Bone restaurant, and Ross Lake. The Tobacco River flows into Wixom Lake, which is expected to return soon—making this a great destination for water and nature lovers alike.
Enjoy fishing, swimming, or simply relaxing by the river. You can also canoe, kayak, or tube down the beautiful Tobacco River or the sandy Cedar River, which is just a short drive away.
Picnic tables and fire pits are scattered throughout the campground for cozy evenings with music, games, and sing-alongs. Take a hike through our trails to discover the magical Enchanted Cedar Forest—located right on the property.
We also host occasional outdoor movie nights on our giant 250-inch screen, featuring concerts, games, and interactive dance videos. Fun for kids and adults alike—everyone leaves with a smile.
