Best spots all by water
These have to be the best camping spots in kansas very close to the water. Very clean and most spots have plenty of room

I love this campground. Super clean, well maintained, large lots and no parking lot feel. Large old trees. This lot has a little pier great for fishing.
The site is nice once you get backed in but it’s very difficult to back into, almost impossible at night. The cross slope requires 3 or 4 of those plastic spacers. It has a common drive with the adjacent site
The campground is gorgeous and you get a great lake view and access. There are full bathrooms and spacious lots.
This is a COE campground. Check in with the gate house if you don’t have a reservation. They will have you drive around to pick your site. Many sites are on the banks of the reservoir. Once you pick your site and drop your trailer or gear go back gate house to give them site number and pay. Toilets are flush and clean. Nothing fancy. You may stay up to 14 days and depending on your park pass site could be as low as $9.00. Sunsets are amazing and site is very quiet. Very good Verizon signal some data and tv reception. Stayed for three days. Warning on the shower. Just shower curtains. No locks. Push button turns the water on and it will run for a number of seconds then shut off. Starts off cold and becomes VERY hot. Can’t regulate. Plenty of hooks to hang clothes etc.
Cottonwood point is one of the Rv campgrounds at Marion reservoir near Marion Kansas. There is a guard shack at the entrance along with a camp host. The sites are shady, spacious, and quiet. The outer sides are overlooking the water. Each site is electric 30/20, and has a covered picnic table, a grill,a cleaning station, and fire ring. There are water spigots scattered around. We were at site 76 and there was one next to us. There are huge group areas with large covered picnic shelter and 9 electric hookups if needed. There is a nice swimming area that has life jackets hanging in case you forgot yours, showers,a playground, boat docks, day use areas, and basketball courts. Also great fishing, kayaking, and hiking. There is a store with bait, wood, and things that you may need.
plenty of campsites of all kinds. Tent sites, electric only, water and electric and full hookups. Boat launches close to most sites. No marina on the lake but just 5 miles to 2 towns with services. Lots of shade. Restrooms/ showers are clean.
