Description
Along NF-452 in a fully shaded stretch of Payette National Forest, this flat roadside pullout sits beside moving water whose sound carries through camp. A fire ring is in place, and the surface is firm enough for 2WD rigs, though the road converts to a snowmobile trail in winter and is not drivable until late spring. Cell signal is unreliable here without a booster.
