One of the least populated states in America, Idaho is the third state that makes up the Pacific Northwest—besides Oregon and Washington. Fishermen are drawn to the state’s abundant and exceptional fish species. It’s the West’s only inland state where you can catch blue-ribbon trout as well as king salmon and steelhead. Mountain bikers, rock climbers, and boaters find delight camping in Idaho’s wildernesses.


Hiking and camping in Idaho is, however, arguably the state’s most popular outdoor pursuit. And it’s available all across the state. A particularly great destination is the Boise National Forest, the location of the awesome Red Mountain Trail. Other fantastic places to go backpacking and camping in Idaho include Craters of the Moon National Monument, the remarkable Bruneau Dunes State Park and iconic Yellowstone National Park, a sliver of which lies in the state’s southeastern corner.


In the middle of southern Idaho lies Shoshone Falls, a series of huge cascades on the Snake River sometimes referred to as the “Niagara of the West”. The Snake River meanders its way further west, making up the northern part of the Oregon and Idaho border, and flows through massive Hells Canyon. Ten miles wide and almost 8,000 feet deep, this is the deepest river canyon in North America, an absolutely natural gem to explore when camping in Idaho.

We are a small farm located on Green Bluff, Washington. We would love to have you come stay in our treehouse cabin or camp out on our tent platform and enjoy visiting with the farm animals including mini donkeys, goats, chickens and the cows. We have a shared fire pit area and a hot outdoor open air shower.

Green Bluff has so much to offer! There are several farms selling fresh produce, wineries, restaurants, a great brewery, stores, and so much more!

We are also only 25 min away from Mt. Spokane State Park which has lots of hiking trails and other fun summer activities.

Downtown Spokane is a quick 30 min drive where you can enjoy restaurants and shops.

The setting is tucked in amongst the pines and is quiet. We are happy to show you around the farm and introduce you to chickens, cows, and barn cats! Green Bluff has so much to offer especially in the summer when you can go to several farms to pick fruits and vegetables, visit wineries, breweries, small businesses, and restaurants all within just a few minutes from our farm. I will give you all the information you need to tour Green Bluff when you arrive! Siemers Farm is located just 1/2 mile from us and they have pizza and salads available and Big Barn Brewery typically has food trucks and live music each weekend and they are about 3 miles away.

Please know we have chickens, cows, dogs and barn cats on the property and so we do not allow any pets.



Amongst The Pines

Pull in with your RV or pitch a tent, either way you will be enjoying the beautiful forest and stream just steps away from the campsite. Both sites have full hookups! You will have access to your bit of stream where you can splash around and cool off, or just enjoy the sounds of the water. Please be careful of stinging nettle and devils club that grow near the stream. There is also a pond to swim in and a nature trail around the property. Each site is equipped with picnic table to enjoy meals at and flat ground to setup chairs and other items. We ask that you do not wonder into the neighboring campsites or up to the houses located on the property as we want everyone to have their own space.

The perfect camping getaway. We are 1 mile away from public lake access Turner Bay and just 3 miles away from public boat launch and beach Carlin Bay. Bring your camping gear and enjoy the beauty of the forest. All the water on site comes from natural mountain spring.



Extraordinary Camping 🏕 

\*SON MOUNTAIN RANCH is located in beautiful North Idaho, surrounded by alpine vistas, beautiful mountains and clear glacial lakes. We are approximately 3 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park. With 3 nice campsites on the front part of our property, we welcome campers coming to visit the area.

*Son Mountain Ranch is located 1.5 miles (3 minutes) from Silverwood Theme Park, easy access off highway 95 and just a mile and a half up the road. We are also 10 miles from Farragut State Park with beautiful Lake Pend Orielle, and our close to our wonderful neighbors 1 mile to the east, Cedar Mountain Farms offering beautiful hiking trails for a small carload fee. Son Mountain Ranch is a working farm and ranch so there is always some sort of animal activity going on here! You will hear our chickens and sheep, as well as our protector donkeys giving a shout out now and then. Often times in the distance, you will hear coyotes and even wolves howling! We have a volleyball/badminton court and a tennis/basketball court available for your use. Check in with us if you would like a visit with our animals, and we can arrange a time to give you a little tour. Our 3 campsites are located on the front of our property directly offside the main driveway. Campsite 1 (The Woods) is under a treed, woodsy area. Campsite 2 (The Field) is on an open field space. Campsite 3 (The Arena) is open although surrounded by a few trees. Each site has a picnic table. We have a nice clean porta potty available for our campers with a little hand washing sink inside. *

*Son Mountain Ranch specializes in growing many of the herbs used in our Herbal Wisdom Tea and Herbal blends. Also grown on the ranch are veggies and several varieties of fruit and berries. Son Mountain Ranch is known for raising Katahdin Sheep for both meat and starter flocks, chickens for eggs, as well as our delicious North Idaho Raw Honey.*

The property was developed back in 2004, Jeff is a Sculptor and originally built the property out to accommodate a studio, but soon after they built a modest home and have lived here ever since.



With a passion for hospitality and willing ness to share the best of what North Idaho has to offer, They decided to open up a portion of their property to guests.

This began the process of developing a completely a private campsite.

As of 2023 the site is mostly designed for campers with rv's and the ability to be self-contained, but as we move into the future its a good possibility that other amenities will be added

Black Bear Meadows

Riley Creek Campground, situated on the banks of the Pend Oreille River, is the largest recreation area for the Albeni Falls Project, but still offers visitors peace and quiet and plenty of space to enjoy the scenic surroundings. Recreation Water sports are the most common activity at the lake, and boat ramps are provided at the campground. Visitors enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, water skiing and jet skiing. Campers are likely to spot wildlife in the area, with bald eagles, osprey, bears and most commonly, deer. A biking and hiking trail is available, giving campers a chance to enjoy the wildlife and greenery. Fishing piers, horseshoe pits, a beach volleyball court, basketball court and more make this campground an ideal place for family trips or groups of friends. A hiking and biking trail is accessible from the campground. Facilities Riley Creek is the largest campground at Albeni Falls, offering 67 campsites, all with electric and water hookups. Two large reservable picnic shelters are also available. As long as all equipment fits on the site pad, Riley Creek allows for an unlimited amount of tents per site. Natural Features Albeni Falls Dam was built in 1955 for flood control and power production on the Pend Oreille River. Today, the popular lake has the added benefit of providing visitors with countless year-round recreational activities. Lake Pend Oreille is surrounded by scenic mountains and is one of the largest and deepest natural lakes in the western United States, plunging to depths of more than 1,200 ft. in some areas. Behind the dam, the Pend Oreille River stretches 65 miles through a glacial-carved valley that separates three mountain ranges. Nearby Attractions The Albeni Falls Visitor Center features exhibits on the history of the dam and the natural features of the area. Tours of the dam are given daily during the summer. The nearby town of Laclede, Idaho offers gas and grocery services.

Riley Creek Campground

## Overview

Springy Point Campground is situated amid firs, cedars and pines overlooking the Pend Oreille River with views of the Cabinet and Selkirk Mountains. The city of Sandpoint is just a short trip across the water and offers a marina, parks, shopping and plenty of sightseeing opportunities. 

## Recreation

Water sports are the most popular activity at Springy Point, and with a boat ramp located on-site, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, jet skiing and fishing are never far out of reach. A large swimming area provides visitors with comfortable access to the river's clear, clean waters. Visitors may also enjoy biking or hiking across the Long Bridge into the town of Sandpoint for a change of scenery or stroll around town. For the bird watchers or moose watchers, a short trip up to the Pack River Area to watch wildlife provides a great day trip.

## Facilities

Springy Point Campground offers 39 shady campsites near the water. 37 are standard non-electric, with two walk-to sites. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and showers. A small picnic shelter (24 person max.) located off of the beach may be reserved by calling 208-437-3133. 

## Natural Features

Lake Pend Oreille is a glacier-carved lake surrounded by scenic mountains in the northern Idaho Panhandle. It is one of the largest and deepest natural lakes in the western United States with depths plunging more than 1,200 ft., in some areas.  
  
The area around the Lake is the traditional home of the Kalispell Indians. French settlers named the area "Pend Oreille," which means "ear pendant," after observing the large shell earrings worn by the Kalispell people.

The Albeni Falls Visitor Center features exhibits on the history of the dam and the natural features of the area, with tours of the dam given daily during the summer.

## Overview

Priest River Campground is situated on the banks of Priest River, shaded by firs, cedars and pines, just upstream from the confluence of the Pend Oreille River. 

## Recreation

Water activities are popular at the campground including kayaking, fishing and swimming. The day-use area includes a picnic shelter, playground, softball field, swim beach, boat ramp and a large grassy area for family fun . Adjacent to the campground is the Priest River Wildlife area, offering excellent fishing as well as birding. Wildlife in the area includes bald eagles, osprey, a wide variety of birds, and deer.

Priest River Campground offers 20 campsites with amenities such as flush toilets and hot showers.

Albeni Falls Dam was built in 1955 for flood control and power production on the Pend Oreille River. Today, the popular lake has the added benefit of providing visitors with countless year-round recreational activities.

We are a fourth generation family farm that offers u-pick cherries, peaches, apples, plums, apricots, mushrooms, pears, and pumpkins throughout the season. We also offer fall activities that include: a hayride, tire maze, mini pumpkin donuts, and fresh pressed apple cider. Come stay in the middle of our peaceful orchard surrounded by luscious fruit trees!

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable).
