Lower Glidden Lake Dispersed — Coeur d'Alene NF

Description

Lower Glidden Lake sits within the Coeur d'Alene National Forest near Burke Summit, offering roughly five dispersed sites along a quiet mountain lake with a small beach for swimming. FR 615 is the only way in — a mile of narrow, rough, rocky two-track that demands high-clearance and patience on passing pullouts; van-sized rigs have made it, but big rigs should not attempt it. Sites are mostly uneven, no toilets on site, and mosquitoes can be fierce in midsummer.
