Someone in our site

I booked a site here via the Recreation.gov website just as they require. We got to the campground and someone had set up several tents, canopies, etc in the site we had booked/paid for. There is zero cell service and the “pay station” tells you reservations are required via the app or call a number to book, which is ludicrous considering you have to drive 30 minutes down a windy forest service rd to get a cell signal. No sign of a camp host either. Not in the mood to argue with someone in the wilderness, we drove on. I appreciate technology, but it’s aggravating to pay for a site then not get to use it. Remote campgrounds need to be left first come, first serve with pay envelopes like the old days.
