Description
Picayune Strand Horseshoe Primitive Campground is located within the Picayune Strand State Forest (Collier County), approximately 8 miles east of Naples, FL. There is no potable water or electric facilities available, but there is non-potable water available. There are also fire rings, picnic tables and portable restrooms available. Recreational activities featured here are: horseback riding, bike riding, picnicking, bird watching, wildlife viewing and hiking.

This is a primitive hunt camp for licensed hunters of the Picayune Strand WMA.
Drought conditions continue to worsen, and numerous Florida counties have implemented burn bans.
