Hardscrabble Rd

Beautiful drive up Hardscrabble Rd. we camped on at the first campsite on the left right after entering the National Forest from BLM. It had a gorgeous view and we were close to the trees. There’s a freshwater spring. The only issue, like with many campsites is that it was covered in glass. I worried about my daughter and dog walking around and exploring like we usually do when we camp. It also smelled badly of human waste in some areas. We left sooner than we had planned. It was a gorgeous campsite, just way too heavily used by irresponsible campers. However, there wasn’t very much traffic on the road and it looked like there were many other great campsites further up the road. They were just taken at the time we were there.
