Description
At the edge of the Book Cliffs, eroded badlands hold this BLM dispersed spot beside Castle Rock amid a cluster of hoodoos — one of which shelters a fire ring within its walls. The access road off Sulphur Gulch is rough and best suited to high-clearance vehicles; weekends draw OHV traffic through the area. The site itself stays remarkably clean despite steady use, and the surrounding geology gives it a character that's hard to find along a drive-in pullout.
