BLM 5092 Dispersed above Gunnison River

The hilltop bench above the Gunnison River in western Colorado's canyon country offers broad river views and genuine quiet — a handful of vehicles on the road in a full day is about all the traffic you'll see. The exposed summit is nearly level but catches wind; a short drive further tucks into tree cover for a more sheltered pitch.
