Nice little campground just off the highway. We made reservations late in the day and arrived after dark. Email said to check “porch” for info but when we arrived it was not clear where to check in or find info. Not a big deal but we could not get bathroom codes til next day when another camper shared them.

Keep in mind that its close to the highway and yes, road noise is quite loud. We turned on our fan and that blocked most of it. Fine stop for the night.

Check in was easy. The staff was very friendly. Park is very clean. The one downfall I can see is a little road noise from the highway.

The tent only section is nicely tucked away from the RV sites. Nice for a campervan, but no hookups. Great views of Shasta and the cheapest option in Weed, it seems. There is a bit of noise from the highway.

Nestled among the trees, this campground was delightful! We checked in early (sorry we forgot to call!!) so the campground was fairly empty which made getting into our site C-5 a little easier as the turns were just a bit tight in our 43’ motorhome with toad. Yes, the sites are mostly dirt and rock but our site was level and that is a big plus!! We could hear some traffic noise but not a problem for us. It was quite warm when we were here so did not make use of the hiking trails or other amenities. They also have eggs for sale which we did not need but would have purchased. The chicken coup was super cute with its trailers housing the chickens and roosters. We would definitely visit again. We found the host, Jay very helpful!

What a beautiful spot here. The Campground is well groomed and maintained. Super clean and our hosts were fantastic. Jay and Karen are very friendly and helpful. The vibe is"cozy" and tucked away in the forest. With a golf course down the street and amazing views of Mt Shasta, Weed is a hidden gem. Rates were super competitive. Their store offers things you need and some special, fun things you may not. Highly recommend. We will be back.

We stayed on a weekday night. The park is small, but the location off I-5 and Hwy 97 is extremely convenient. Our packet was waiting for us when we arrived, our pull through site was level and the owners were very nice. The park is perfect for a short stay and we will make this a regular stop on our route.

Love connection to nature and when you camp here in may you will experience the new babies of the season I got to see baby gosling and many different type of birds and perfect place for fishing or gold panning

Karen and Jay have a delightful campground in the shadow of Shasta Mountain. The camp sites are nicely groomed, flat and have full hookups. If you don't have an RV you can stay in one of the trailers they have on site. Or if you prefer to tent camp, they have nice sites for that as well. Nice showers and bathroom facilities. Clean and well stocked. The fun part is the critters they have on site- chickens, turkeys, goats and quail. There is a fun little kid zone with several activities appropriate for the whole family. And if you are craving a campfire, they have a nice pit in this kid area where you can safely enjoy the coals. This is situated near many great hiking and fishing sites so you will not be bored. There are some beautiful waterfalls, lakes and rivers to have you enjoy on your travels. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is the road noise from the freeway nearby. But definitely worth staying and relaxing!

Another great stay September 19-22, 2024. Love this place! This time we enjoyed 9 holes of golf at the Weed Golf Club!

We enjoyed our stay at Trailer Lane. Jay was very accommodating and took great care of us. The price was right also. We recommend this place highly. Very clean and well maintained. Bathroom/shower is old but clean with updated fixtures. We absolutely LOVED the animals onsite! Chickens, turkeys, quail and goats! Some of the chicken coops were old vintage trailers! 

We will return!

Wonderful place to stay overnight. The owners were very responsive to our concerns and requests. The campground is friendly, clean, well taken care of and easy to get to. It shows the pride of ownership. Will definitely return when in the area

Wonderful place to stay! Very nice little campground in Weed, CA. We originally were just stopping for the night so I had reserved a 50 amp pull thru, but we had some problems with our fifth wheel and my husband wanted some shade to work on it. Karen was nice enough to juggle reservations and get us in a 30 amp back in that had shade. Plus, we ended up staying for two nights. Karen was very accommodating and helpful and we really appreciated it! The campground is fun, has some outdoor games, a small dog park, and a community fire pit. And visiting the goats and chickens was definitely a bonus! I highly recommend Trailer Lane Campground and would definitely stay there again! We didn't use the bathrooms or laundry.

I can't say enough about this RV park, inviting, welcoming, clean, and quiet. When it is time to go back home it is hard to leave. My husband and I have stayed 3 times now in June, in August and in September 2023 and we plan on more!!! From the very moment we met Karen and Jay we knew it would be a life long friendship.....that being said I cannot say enough about Karen and Jay. They take pride in their park and their hospitality comes from the heart. They have chickens, goats, turkeys, garden, apple trees(yummy when in season), walking trails, campground campfire pit, bocce ball just to name a few highlights.....and most of all the memories you will have after your stay. The view of Mt. Shasta, up the road through the park, is breathtaking. I would not even begin to understand anyone who would not love to stay at this RV park.....well it would be those who are just too picky and just need to complain about something! Karen and Jay.....keep up the great work. WE LOVE YOU!

The first time we saw Trailer Lane it took our breath away. A quaint little old campground tucked into the forests of Siskiyou County, with the most spectacular views of Mount Shasta from its chaparral covered hilltop, we felt like we had found a hidden gem.

We've spent the past 2 years updating and upgrading the campground, adding tent sites and a camp store, unlimited Starlink WiFi, game courts, glamping units, community fire pit, gardens and hobby farm... our guests really seem to be loving the homey atmosphere and say that it's the perfect place to stop & stay a while. I can’t say enough good things about Trailer Lane RV Park and the owners/hosts, Karen and Jay. First of all, a quaint little park tucked into a wooded valley in Weed, CA.(just north of Mt. Shasta). Special kudos to Jay who, after some unforeseen circumstances, had to shuffle some of the site reservations. We weren’t pleased with where we landed and when I voiced my displeasure to Jay he immediately fixed the situation. He picked me up in his cart and showed me every possible site until I found one I liked. It ended up being right next to our initial reservation. The point is, Karen and Jay go above and beyond to make their customers happy!

Found this little campground just off I -5. We pulled in and the Camp post JAY was waiting for us, took us to our site which was large and clean. There was some Road noise from I-5 we had the fan on so the road noise was not that noticeable ,Overall was clean. Bath and laundry on-site

Small RV park , ok for trailers.  Only one larger site, noisy from the freeway and on site owners who gave us a very poor customer experience. I am sure they are nice folks but we definitely caught them on a " we don't care just give us the $$$ day" .

The campground was well kept.  Easy access on and off the I-5 freeway.  Host were very friendly and helpful.  Nice bathroom and shower area that was kept clean.  We were only staying for overnight on our way to wine country.  I would certainly recommend staying there while passing through the areal

What a nice RV Park. The park was clean, until the bears got into the garbage, to bad we missed them. The site we chose was wonderful for our trailer. I hiked up the hill for the view and it was great, to bad we couldn't have gotten our trailer up there. We will be back and hope to meet the owners next time and maybe see the bear. Great wifi too.
