Sweet little campground

This was a really sweet campground to stay at for a week. The true highlight was the small trail to the turquoise pond. It was so peaceful and beautiful - we spent a lot of time there!

The campsite itself was fine. No trees to offer shade, but fairly private. The owners were very kind and helpful. There have some animals on the property (goats, chickens, dog) penned up. The kids enjoyed visiting there everyday. There’s also a little koi pond, an above-ground swimming pool (though we were there off-season, so we didn’t get to try that out), as well as a playground and laundry.

Decent WiFi, though was often bogged down by gamers in the campground, Not much for cell service.- at best 1 bar with AT&T.

The reason I didn’t rank it 5-star was because of some of the full-time tenants/campers. A bit of a rough crowd. Some of the children bullied my kids, and there were a lot of God-fearing Christian signs and Trump propaganda. If I were BIPOC, GLTBTQIA+, or had liberal stickers on my vehicle, I am not sure I would have felt safe. We also got a lot of dirty looks for wearing masks in the laundry or when the kids were playing with others on the playground equipment. As such, we kind of kept to ourselves. To reiterate though, the owners were absolutely welcoming and sweet.
