This campground located just outside of Downtown Prescott is one of my favorites for a little time away.  The grounds and trails are well maintained, with little to no facilities, they allow for tent and self contained camping.  Close proximity to a plethora of trails and wildlife, the Thumb Butte area has something for everyone.
