Dangerous

Just this evening I pulled into the Circle-S Campground driveway in Kingman AZ at around 6:40pm Sunday evening, and there were no forms or envelopes to fill out where the sign on the door said to fill it out and put the money into the slot in the wall.  A man and a woman pulled up in a car along the side of my motorhome and told me the cost was $20 for boondocking and $45 or so for full hookups, and I can hand him the $20 and he will give me the receipt in the morning.

I told him in a jovial way, trying to be as nice as possible, that he could be anyone, and I would like him to write me up a receipt, and he told me in a hostile tone of voice "if you don't like it, then go somewhere else" to which I replied that I would go elsewhere, which severely triggered him.   He and his moll suddenly went ballistic and told me to "get the hell out of here or we are calling the cops" 0-to-100 instantaniously.

I cannot imagine what they would have told the police, since all I did up to then was to make the first half of a u-turn at their entrance.  It looks like this will be the impetus for me to finally get some dash-cameras, or even a body-camera, with people like that roaming the streets.  I might still file a police report to give the police in Kingman a heads-up that there might be a couple of "karens" with a propensity of conjuring up false accusations (if those two even really work for Circle-S).

I don't think that asking for a receipt nicely just once is cause for flipping out.

I am also thinking of reporting to their front office on Monday morning that there are meth-heads off the street trying to scam money off of their paying customers, but then I researched on the internet other reviews of this sketchy place, and from what people are saying, these cringy people might really be associated with the owners, in which case a complaint would be futile.
