Cicada Road Dispersed — Coronado NF

Description

Deep in the Huachuca Mountains sky island of Coronado National Forest, Cicada Road (FR 5740) climbs off East Miller Canyon Road into a shaded corridor of alligator junipers, with fire rings scattered among several informal sites and hiking trails threading through the surrounding terrain. The access track is rutted and steep with low-hanging branches — high-clearance, shorter-wheelbase vehicles are at home here, but anything RV-sized should stay at the trailhead below. Cell service is strong at this elevation.
