Description
Perched near the base of Ajo Peak in the Lower Sonoran desert of southwestern Arizona, this BLM dispersed area offers open Sonoran scrub terrain with unobstructed 360-degree views and genuine separation from other campers. A short side road branches off from the main track to reveal multiple spread-out spots — the approach has one rough section but holds firm on solid ground and is passable in 2WD. Cell signal is reliable here, a rarity in this remote corner of the desert.
