Beautiful park but check the dates to see what is going on before you go. You can rent a cabin or set up an RV or tent. It's a pretty busy campground so if you're looking for solitude I wouldn't suggest this one. It's great for families though. Kids riding bikes, tons of shade and a creek. There's a museum describing the old ironworks. There are activities ranging from outdoor movie nights to Trade Days where vendors sell their wares like an open flea market. They have nice trails for varying levels of hikers.
