This COE park is located right on the banks of the Tombigbee waterway where you can sit and watch the barges take their goods up or down the river. The Park Ranger and camp host were very friendly and welcoming. We chose site 13 which was right on the river. Most of the sites were available mid week. You can choose river front or wooded sites. There is a hiking trail and a playground for the kids. The bathrooms and showers were clean but somewhat dated. There is a washer and dryer available as well. A boat launch is also available in the park. We will definitely plan to return to this park.
