Beautiful and lots of ATVs

This place is gorgeous, unique, and well worth the trip. Campsites are well spaced and spacious and clean, with hookups. It snowed on us the first night so be prepared if you’re in a shoulder season. It’s high elevation and there’s plenty of COLD to experience here! The snow day also meant no ATVs that day so it was beautifully quiet. We aren’t big fans of being around ATVs but they are well regulated and tend to stay in their lanes. They visitors really came out of the woodwork when the sun came out.

Visitor center is small but improving. It has a soda and ice machine. There is wifi at the center and we could text with it using Verizon. Otherwise there’s no cell service.

The sledding is great, bring your own or they rent them also.
