Camp partier's paradise

This campground is acceptable for what it is. There is the potential for this place to be a great campground. We don't regret camping here, but will not be coming back. We have a popup camper and needed hookups. This place provided all of that.

However, as other reviews have mentioned, this place doesn't enforce rules. Quiet hours are merely a suggestion, and folks turn up until 4AM on Friday nights. Music blaring from disrespectful campers until 10PM. Fights and arguments can be heard from across the campground, cussing and whatnot while kids play in the field during the day. This could have been stopped easily, had an employee stopped by.

Honestly, our stay wasn't terrible. We have also experienced much better locations for the same prices. This is not a horrible place to camp, but I believe this location draws in the younger/party crowd on weekends. If you're looking to relax and enjoy nature, save yourself the heartache, and stay in your backyard. Saturday nights there is a "movie night" on the field, and it's right off sites 1-7 and is horribly loud. I understand what they are trying to do with this, and don't hate the idea of it. I don't think it's something that should be done while camping, just got to the drive-ins.

Furthermore, I will say, the campsite itself was big, clean, shaded, and well maintained#47. There is also a very shallow river about 10 minutes walk from the site we were at which is absolutely beautiful, and we spent most of our time there. Firewood was softwood, but inexpensive from the camp store at$5 a bundle. We went through about 1 bundle an evening.
