Convenient Campground with many entertainment options

Choose your campsite carefully.  Some have electrical and water but not all.  Some are electrical only.  Though, water is available in each camping area.

On our first visit in April we were fortunate with campsite #71.  Electrical, water, picnic table, grill, and campfire ring.  We found the bathhouse near this campsite was excellent, and kept very clean.  Private rooms, and we rarely if ever waited.  This particular campsite did have a steep trail to the water's edge.  Also, with our trailer rig we found it a bit of a challenge to hook and unhook due to the uneven pad.

On a second visit in July we stayed at campsite #29.  This campsite was electrical only so we filled up the water tank prior to backing in.  In this area we also seemed closer to our neighbors.  As I said, each camp area is a bit different.  This camp pad was a good fit, but we have a 22 ft. trailer.  Large rigs that came in would not have fit.  A surprise benefit, was the store that was just across the street.  Great for the extra bag of ice.

I agree with other reviewers that this is a popular campground, especially in the summer so I highly recommend reservations.  Branson and its attractions are just 15mns away, so if you're tired of cooking, you got options.  Just a walk from your campsite though, there is the swimming beach and at the marina, boat rentals.  Give yourself more than just a day or two here to thoroughly enjoy the shady grounds and friendly folks.
