Woodchuck Campground

Beautiful with a lot of "catches"

The road up was brutal, definitely recommend 4x4. Took us about 40 minutes to get 3 miles on the dirt road that ascends the mountain. The campground itself was CLOSED due to hazardous trees (risk of them falling) so we just drove half a mile past woodchuck and camped in the woods near the road. Ended up being one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, including multiple waterfalls and ponds in a rocky river overlooking a vast valley. Beautiful and worth the trip, but I think technically illegal as it is a logging companies property.
