This campground is one of the closest to the east entrance. It is fairly close to a restaurant and services in the park. We bought another battery at the park service area when our battery went dead due to cold temperatures ( using the furnace). The campground is one big wide open space with few trees between sites. We did have an amazing siting of a fox nearby.
