Had a great time here 1st week of June, with a reservation at one of the walk in sites.  Bugs weren’t an issue yet, but i could imagine it getting bad depending on the season.  I would definitely come back to try another one of the walk in sites

The quarry and the beach area were great, and there were a ton of picnic spots overlooking the lake
