Rock Creek Campground is a primitive campground located near where Rock Creek meets the Chiwawa River in the Wenatchee National Forest. 20 miles up the Chiwawa River from Lake Wenatchee, the Rock Creek camping offers trailhead access to Rock Creek and Estes Butte Trails. It is equipped with fire pits, picnic tables, and a bathroom.

This campsite is at the very end of the dirt road. Pass all the others and come here! 

So many campsites on both sides of the creek. There is even a swimming hole. This campground is part of the Icicle Gorge trail, a beautiful 3 mile loop around the river. 

Worth the Drive

The campsite was nice and clean when we went to check it out. It's in the woods, with plenty of room between sites, but is wide open so if it was full you may not get as much privacy as with other sites further down the road.
