Lowers Falls blew us away! We stayed two nights on the upper loop (site #34). This place has it all. It’s very close to hiking trails, the Lewis River, and the Lower Falls. The falls are stunning - pictures really don’t do it justice. We were also pleasantly surprised there were zero bugs or animals scavenging for food. The bathrooms are vault toilets, but weren’t bad at all (for vault toilets). We brought our own water, but learned from the Ranger that the water here is potable.

We spent days on the river in the sun. It was truly amazing. The water is cold, clear, and so refreshing. We will be back again!
