Leavenworth-Pine Village KOA

RV sites in the open field kinda suck for tenting, but other than that it's a decent KOA. Nice outdoor pool. Decent store. Nice playground. Has breakfast on summer weekends. Coffee shop. Showers could b cleaner, but overall decent. They blow up a bounce house for kids which is cool, but they do it in open field at like 1 pm for only a couple hours so kinda stupid with those pathetic hours, and it's not every day.

Nice family KOA campground

We love that this is within walking distance to downtown Leavenworth (maybe 20 min walk). We loved this KOA during our first trip here. this visit we were not aware that everything was under construction. it was a little inconvenient, but fine. it’ll be great when it’s done. we will come back for sure.

Great Location

We take our kids on fancy vacations but their favorite stop every year is the Leavenworth KOA. there are events all weekend, a shuttle into Leavenworth, movie nights and a cheap pancake breakfast. This is about as close to not-camping as camping gets but our kids love it. The hosts are kind and everybody camping always seems to have a good attitude. The shuttle is nice since there is lots of wine tasting and beer flights to be had in town. 


Really great for families 

Leavenworth in washington is one of my favorite places to visit. One of the reasons I love coming here is because the hiking is incredible. Colchuck Lake is a must if you are in the Leavenworth area! The Enchantments are beautiful. This hike is 8 miles round trip and I would say it was a moderate hike. The campsite was great. We stayed here for 2 nights because we wanted to explore the Enchantments and we did a thru hike which was about 20 miles in one day. This campground is close, so it was nice to have a place close by to sleep after that long day. Spaces in campsite are awesome and big which we loved. Bathroom onsite and close to the little town of Leavenworth where there are some restaurants and grocery stores! Highly recommend.

So amazing 

My wife and I attempted to drive a 1977 motor home over Steven's Pass, and ended up stranded here for almost a month while it was repaired. Best place I've ever broken down by far. It is SO gorgeous here, especially for being within walking distance to groceries and such. So many days waking up with wildlife in our space. They have quite a few well maintained trails in the area for hiking and exploring, and then of course there's the river down toward the bottom of the camp. I would live here if they'd let me :)

Beautiful Place!

I went to Leavenworth for the Oktoberfest event with friends. We stayed there for two nights. We checked in and out very easily and it was very perfect. There are something that I like about KOA. It is perfect for large group to stay there for a weekend for an event in Leavenworth because it has excellent shuttle transportation to Leavenworth. Not only that the campground gives many options that they have such as hot tub, breakfast, coffee, fire pit, games and etc. And it has awesome the views of mountains and even better the view of river which it is right next to the campground! And we had a great weekend there during the weekend of October!

We go every summer, and love it. Yes a tad bit over priced but tons of things to do, and so close to the river, which we float ever year! 

Always a great time

We’ve camped here a number of times and love it. 4 kids and a dog. We’ve tent camped, stayed in the cabins and our class C RV. We’ve been in a variety of spots around the campground. Our favorite were tent camping over the river and being close to the playground &amp; dog park on the RV. The store is the best I’ve come across at a campsite. Great kid craft activities, nice playground, yummy pancake breakfast, great access for swimming in the river. We walk to town. It’s awesome. 

We keep coming back!  

So much to do here all year round.  rafting, skiing, snowmobiles, even a sleigh pulled by reindeer! Great park as a base camp for adventures all across the valley. Helpful staff (seems like everybody knows someone that has what you need). Cell service spotty but scenery makes you forget about it.

Small but so scenic

Rolled in late at night on an audible after campground at Lake Wenatchee didn't work out. Great tent sites, with decent spacing between them. This place is big, but didn't feel too crowded - at least during off-season. Super clean facilities, warm bathrooms, good provisions at their on-site store. Beautiful river walk, good proximity to town.

Absolutely solid

Normally I don't camp at KOA's but if you are trying to camp and ALSO do some usual Leavenworth things this is the perfect spot.  It is walking and biking distance from town, right behind the Safeway, and has lots of amenities.  Great place for kids especially there's tons of activities, playground and even a pool.  There are 4 or 5 free activities daily and even a couple for 21+ which I appreciated as a visitor without kids.

  

We stayed in a tent site and it was small and dusty but had a private trail to the river which totally made up for the more cramped quarters.  Quiet hours were observed and the staff was ultra friendly.  Picked up our propane and filled it for us and everything!

  

I will definitely go back here during shoulder season and rent a cabin.

Great Spot in Leavenworth!

It is great to see that KOA has turned it around from the days of questionable sites. Because this one was great.
