Watchman is one of my favorite campgrounds ever because Zion is so amazing. We really enjoyed attending the Ranger programs in the evening at the amphitheater. The Virgin River runs right behind the campground - nice for cooling off. Also, the Zion Canyon Brew Pub is right across the river - nice to have good food, craft beers, and live music easy walking distance just outside the Park entrance. Springdale is a great little town - Spotted Dog Cafe is fabulous, and Zion Canyon outfitters rent everything you need for canyoneering adventures.
