South Llano is a little out of the way for most but well worth the trip. It hosts birding, turkey habitats and an abundance of deer- and that’s just the tip of the iceberg in regards to wildlife. It has extensive hiking trails and lots of ranger led programs. It’s located on the South Llano so swimming is a must and a joy. Hiiiiighly recommend!
