Huge campground, family focused

We arrived mid-September 2020, so Covid has had it's impact and it's past Labor Day so pools / lakes are likely closed to swimming most years anyway, but given the size and amenities this campground boasts, I feel it must be a real attractive campground for families during the summer.  Campsites surround a sizable lake which boasts inflatables as well as enough room for self-propelled water crafts (i.e. kayaks, paddleboards, etc).  That said, there are also a large number of Canadian geese which love the huge lake, so I'm sure goose landmine dodging is also a sport for families who stay here.

The 5 mph rule is strictly enforced, which is great.  And it appears either due to our late in the season arrival or an increase in monitoring of nighttime activities, older, negative reviews we came across have been remedied.  The picnic table at our spot looks new this year, our spot is near the main road, but the car traffic on this main road is not nearly as frequent or loud as I expected given reviews I read and not anything crazy compared with other parks in which we have stayed.

For those worried about campgrounds with seasonal or full-timers, yes, this campground does have people who appear to park their rig here year-round.  That said, save one or two we have seen, the permanent fixtures (i.e. full size grills, yard decorations, etc.) haven't been too extreme or eye-sores.

Net/net, given the proximity to Cleveland and Cuyahoga National Park, and since we have no kids, we would stay here again, outside of the main summer season.
