Amazing waterside sites
Lovely campground to just camp, paddle and be outdoors. So beautiful and right on this huge, amazing lake. Not a lot of activities other then enjoying the outdoors, camping, biking, hiking and water related activities. So perfect.

Peaceful, spacious campground
I’ve been to Henderson Point on Kerr Lake multiple times now, and it’s never disappointed! Stayed at sites 16 and 18, and both are great! 19 and 20 don’t seem to always be available to reserve, but a heads up that they are really close to 18 so keep that in mind. Bathrooms are some of the best I’ve ever seen! Super spacious showers, everything seemed newer and was very well cleaned/maintained. Lake is amazingly calm and perfect for kayaking or canoeing. Will continue to visit as often as possible!

Large lake with plenty of tall pines
We stayed in Henderson Point Campground, loop 2, site 68 in late August. 30 amp hookup, drinking water hookup was easily accessible (no need for a super long hose), no sewer hookups. The site was a back in and pretty level with only a slight decline as you move toward the rear. The view was absolutely gorgeous. East facing, the semi private beach was easily accessible and only maybe 50ft from the site. From what I could tell the campground was booked that weekend but you could barely hear any noise from your neighbors. The only complaints would be that the bathrooms are kind of far from this site (I never actually went but imagine a good 5 minute walk) and the dump station is about a mile away. Neither of these would keep us from returning; we can hardly wait to go back to this campground.
Beautiful, spacious campsites!
Loved this CG. Have stayed at JC Cooper (like), Nutbush (stay away!), Bullocksville (like), Kimball Point (love too, depends on site though). Campsites are well spaced. Quiet at night. Bathrooms were adequate, but not terribly new which is why I did t give this five stars. Lake is fantastic from here. So many waterfront sites. W/E, picnic tables, fire ring, dump station. Lots of boats and kayaks. Boat launch.

Great for families
We camped with a few other families at the group camp site. It was lovely. Great shade and perfect water for kids, the red mud is so much easier to wash off than sand! Bugs weren’t too bad. The electrical outlet was only in the bathroom which was a challenge but clean water was accessible all over.
Would love to come during summer
Stayed here while passing thru and this place was awesome! Got a site right by the lake. Could fish, swim, boat all from your campsite if you wanted.
Great ! Site #48
Roomy campsites, beautiful lakefront lots. Quiet, clean and peaceful. No hiking trails.
