My college friends go here each year to meet up and we have so much fun. The group sites are great and perfect for our 30-50 people. Definitely go for the rafting/tubing package, it was the best part of the trip!
This place is hopping as far as a campground goes. Music playing and it's pretty crowded. But this is the place I go to with my old college friends once a year, and it's good for that. Rafting and hiking is always a great time, and you can have a good campfire with music and a few beers and nobody is going to bother you.
Great campground for all types , many different areas to camp , zipline is a lot of fun and so if rafting
This campground is perfect if you have small children or just have never been camping before. They habe showers and a laundry room onsite if you plan on having an extended stay.
The only thing that was slightly annoying was the state of the porta-johns, and the fact that at the end of our rafting trip, our big group had to wait a while to be shuttled back up (maybe slightly unorganized?) but the quality of the sites, of the rafting gear, and overall it is an amazing stay.
The most beautiful campsite ever. Don’t cheap out. Get the tubing package as well. Also love their camp store!
Busy campground no quiet time loud music till 3 in the morning. Very clean, workers very friendly and helpful but after dark no one around. If you looking for a peaceful campground not the place to go.
We stayed at Indian Head campground just up the rd but they are not available for review. Stayed at the knights eddy campsite. Porta potty and hand wash stations available but no showers. The campsites are clean & the staff are friendly. The sites are right on the delaware river & the view is amazing. However, don't the the maps fool you, the campsites are right off the main rd so you constantly hear cars & motorcycles. Stayed Thursday through Sunday and were the only ones there until Sat when most people book their river trips (requirement to camp here). Many different lengths of river trips are available.
This place was so fun for the entire family, it wasn't that busy, so we didn't really have to worry all the time about the kids getting ran over! The park ranger person came through and gave the kids cool posters, and just made it a very fun place for all the kids
We stayed at this site mostly because this was our only free weekend and there werent any other places available. It was nothing special but every site has a good amount of space for a tent, a parking spot, and a pit for a fire. We had a great time but mostly because of the company. The people who work there are very friendly but other than a short walk up the road there isnt much to see. We also were there at a time of year where the mosquitos were really bad and we even had to change sites because of that. The advantage to staying here is if you use their other resources such as their boating trips but that was not our interest.
