Adirondacks meets 1,000 Islands

Visit with a kayak or canoe and camp on your own private island!! You can also camp on the land, which would still be pretty, but there’s really nothing like having your own island. If that’s not enough to convince you to stay here, nothing is. (Ok some islands do have more than one site, but it’s still amazing.) Reserve WAY in advance, as this is one of the very best campsites in the whole Adirondack region. The only lame downside is that all kinds of boats are allowed, so you sometimes get annoying motorboats (but that’s an issue everywhere). Rangers are very helpful in navigating to YOUR ISLAND and with suggestions on what to do in the area. Enjoy your private island camping paradise...
