It is about 5 miles south of Winnemucca in a canyon with camping on both sides of the gravel road. The road is in great condition. Campsites are simple: picnic table and fire pit. Ours was along the stream and across from the vault toilet and dumpster. We were there mid week in mid October and it was quiet after day use people left. We had some smaller colorful boulders at our site. The stream was soothing and the aspens/willows were colorful. All amenities in Winnemucca.
