**Zan's Creekside Campground** is a family owned and operated park. We offer RV camping, tent sites, and day time access to the river for non-campers.

**30 and 50 amp RV Sites are OPEN YEAR ROUND!!!!**

All RV sites are naturally shaded by the plentiful supply of tall trees on the campground. Also, all sites are less than a one minute walk to the beach. Popular activities include river tube floating from Grand Falls to our location. Grand Falls is about five minutes away by car, the return float trip takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours (we DO rent tubes, we do NOT provide transportation). Our location is very popular for launching or retrieving kayaks and we provide parking for vehicles left at one end of the trip (we do NOT rent kayaks). Fishing is always an enjoyable pastime here as well.

**We offer weekly and monthly rates for both 30 amp and 50 amp RV Sites.**

Well behaved pets are welcome. Alligators must be kept on a short leash!!



Zans Creekside RV Park

The Twin Bridges Area at Grand Lake State Park is known for its quiet country atmosphere and excellent fishing for trophy-sized bass, catfish, bluegill and spoonbill. Bait and tackle are available at the gift shop. Lighted boat ramps, picnic areas, RV and tent campgrounds, snacks, lake huts, playgrounds, volleyball court and horseshoe pits are also available. Picnic facilities include tables, individual shelters and group picnic shelters for larger gatherings.

Campsites range from RV sites with water and electric, and tent campsites. Comfort stations with showers are nearby. RV and tent campsites must be reserved online. The park also offers one-room lake huts with electricity, ceiling fans and screened windows. Outside the lake huts you will find grills, tables, water and restroom facilities. The park is near the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation's Paddlefish Research & Processing Center, which collects important biological data, processes paddlefish meat for anglers and salvages paddlefish eggs. The Paddlefish Research Center is open only a few months each spring. Contact the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation for more information about the Paddlefish Research Center.

We have 30/50 amp hookups, with no extra charges. Come fish our stocked pond, no license needed. When you choose Ballard's Campground, you'll be provided with great customer service from our on-site management!

Clean laundry facilities, bathhouses, camp store, pet area, and free Wi-Fi are a few amenities that we offer to our guests. Your comfort and enjoyment is our top priority. There are also picnic tables and campfire pits available for your entertainment around the park. Propane, firewood, and other items are available for sale from the camp store.

At Ballard Campground & RV Park, all of our sites are level, with a combination of pull-through sites for big rigs (with trailers) and back-end sites for those who want a little more privacy.

We offer exclusive rough camping sites for pop-ups and tent camping. Campers are welcome but will need to bring a generator. No electric sites at this time. Our Lots vary in size in both non-wooded and wooded sections throughout the property. Enjoy a Beautiful Hike down to the spring fed pond and relax while you fish or ride your ATV through the beautiful hilly trails on this 140 acre property we call Home. A fee of $45 per ATV will be charged. Timber Springs is a pet-friendly community however please keep your pets on leashes during your stay as we also have pets, children, and other natural wildlife running around. Timber springs and it’s affiliates are not responsible for any injuries or losses, lost or stolen property. ort Crowder Conservation Area, located in southern Newton County, was once part of the old, World War II Camp Crowder Army Base. The U.S. Army selected the Neosho site for the base because of its proximity to water, railroads, and highways. Visitors to the area can still see foundations, fruit trees, open fields and other remnants of many of the hundreds of small farms purchased by the federal government for the 60,000-acre base. Camp Crowder was named for Judge Advocate General and U.S. Ambassador to Cuba Enoch H. Crowder. Thousands of soldiers went through basic training here before the camp was decommissioned in the mid 1950s, including Mort Walker, who immortalized the Camp as Camp Swampy in his syndicated comic strip, Beetle Bailey. Fort Crowder Conservation Area, encompassing 2,362 acres, is approximately 60 percent forested. Primary species include white, black, post, blackjack and red oaks, hackberry, elm, black cherry, black walnut, and ash. The remainder of the area is open and includes 200 acres of native warm-season grasses, 100 acres of crop fields and 600 acres of fields maintained in an early successional stage. The area hosts various game species, including quail, rabbits and doves in the open areas and large numbers of deer and squirrels. Turkeys have been stocked here and are now present in good numbers. During your visit to Fort Crowder Conservation Area you may view various forest and wildlife improvement projects in progress from the 11 miles of multiuse trails that wind through the area. These trails are open to hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
