We stayed at this campground the night before we started off on a 3 day backpacking trip. It is perfect for this because it is less than a mile away from the Iron Creek Trailhead. This trailhead is wonderful access into the Sawtooth Wilderness and its many trails. Each campsite was located privately in the midst of tall trees, so that every site was covered. There are no bathrooms but there are full campfires and grills at each site. I really enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of water here, and the location was very ideal for a hiker who wants to wake up early, pack up camp, and be on the go.
